It is an ultraviolet absorber with high efficiency, no toxicity, no teratogenesis and good light/thermal stability, it can absorb both the UV-A and UV-B, it is approved by American FDA as the type I sunscreen agent widely used in the US and Europe. It is also protective to PVC and unsaturated polyester.
